Housed in the historic Mazetti Chocolate Factory, the Inter Arts Center (IAC) is a modern art venue. More than a simple event space, this center serves as a melting pot of ideas, innovation and creativity. Students, artists and people with an art background come together on a common platform here, thereby, resulting in interdisciplinary projects and diversified research. The idea is to provide requisite facilities and space for such activities. The Inter Arts Center comprises workspaces, meeting rooms, editing studios and so forth. Palladium is a huge entertainment venue built in the 1920's with an intent to promote art and culture in the city. It features a concert hall and a salon which is used as a theater and dance venue. The historic concert hall has played host to a variety of performances throughout its history, from Laurel & Hardy to the Brussels Jazz Orchestra. Palladium stages dance performances and plays by local and international artists as well. Besides entertaining events, the venue can also be used for conferences and other events.
Located in the southeastern part of Malmö, the Inkonst aims to be the focus of all cultural activities in Scandinavia. This cultural center is housed in a building that was a former chocolate factory, and it still continues to spread sweetness in the neighborhood, but through art. Inkonst is the host of almost all culturally prominent events in the region, from classical music concerts, to film screenings and other such cultural events.
