Located in a former railway express station that was built in 1908, this museum displays memorabilia relating to Lumberton and Robeson County plus features a rotating historic display that changes every two months, and fossils found in the nearby Lumber River.
The science center is located in a one room schoolhouse and offers many hands-on exhibits and activities. The planetarium is located adjacent to the center and uses light, sound, and color to recreate the images of the universe.
A very unique museum and resource center that contains 19th century artifacts, as well as arts and crafts from Lumbee Indian tribes plus displays contemporary Indian arts and drafts that represent Native Americans all over North America. Major displays include an authentic log canoe and log cabin.
