This pizza place is more than just a place for a slice of pie and soda, it is a place for pizza magic to happen. From the buffet bar where you can eat as much pizza as you want for one price, to the gameroom to provide fun for those who do not want to continue stuffing their faces with pizza the whole time they are in the restaurant, there is something to do every moment at Gatti's Pizza. Birthday parties are well planned and you can choose from several different packages to best fit the party you had in mind. Local schools can take field trips where Gatti's has programs to teach kids about fractions or nutrition.
If you choose to visit Double Nickel Steakhouse, don't let the rates shock you. It may be expensive, but the quality of the food is worth every penny. Believing that the old ways are the best, the restaurant tries to maintain the traditional ways of cooking. A microwave is never used to heat food, and everything coming to you is absolutely fresh. The service is excellent. The crab stuffed mushrooms is a must-try, and of course all their steaks are cooked to perfection.
The catchy jingle on their website says just about everything you need to know about Stella's. Promising the flavor of New York in west Texas, Stella's has a hard role to fill, but it is up to the challenge. At lunch, take advantage of the "Lunch in a New York Minute" where meals are served in less than 20 minutes. Or stop in on Tuesdays, Thursdays, Fridays, or Saturdays for a bit of live music. Stella's also has a wine club for those who are so inclined. The first Stella's opened in New York, so it is no surprise that the family business is doing well in Lubbock too.

This Texas-based chain is a Texan favorite with restaurants all over the state. The food is mostly comfort food, with plenty of delicious fried treats, as well as some healthier-options for the vegetarian or health-conscious. Try the Crispy Fried Catfish, Chicken Fried Steak, or Meatloaf made right in the cafe. For lighter fare, there are sandwiches or try an appetizer such as Spinach & Artichoke Dip or Jumbo Crispy 'Shrooms. For the kids, there is a children's menu in which all meals, as long as the parents say it is ok, is served with Oreo cookies!

This busy and unassuming Thai restaurant is one of the best Thai places in town. The Pad Thai is especially good, but so are most of their dishes. The restaurant is busy, especially during peak lunch and dinner hours, so don't expect a quiet atmosphere. But it is busy because the food is good, and that is the most important part. The service is friendly and courteous, and makes for a great dining experience.
Small, popular restaurant near the medical center and Texas Tech campus, features Cajun seasonings: red beans and rice, crawfish, gumbo, blackend fish, other Louisiana favorites.
