Dilboy Stadium is the mecca of women's professional football in Somerville. Named in memory of George Dilboy, a Medal of Honor recipient during World War I, it is the home turf of the Boston Breakers and Boston Militia of Women's Football Alliance. It reopened after major refurbishment in 2006 and features a synthetic field, a running track and a capacity for 3,500 persons. Administered by the City of Somerville, this public stadium also hosts local leagues at school and university level.
