Everything about this center is special, for selecting an architecture firm for its designing, a competition was held and the winner was chosen by an expert jury. No efforts are spared in constructing this structure that offers unique facilities and spaces to artists, researchers, art students and others to experiment and innovate in their respective art media. It boasts off a state-of-the-art concert hall, theater with enhanced technology, studios, and workspaces where resident artists can work with the supporting infrastructure at this center. The RPI Houston Field House, a multi-purpose arena that hosts many sporting events. Located on the campus of Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, this place is the official venue for many hockey leagues, games and tournaments. The arena was built way back in 1949 and has been renovated and modified several times to make it the state-of-the-art, well- facilitated venue it is today. The Linda Norris Auditorium, more affectionately known as 'The Linda' is housed inside an old bank building that has been converted into part of WAMC-FM's broadcast studio. From short films and documentaries to musical concerts and spoken-word, this auditorium provides several eclectic events throughout the week. The events are then broadcast live over the air and online. In addition to entertainment, WAMC also uses the venue as a place to create community relationships with various types of other 'non-artistic' entities, for instance, workshops on business development in low-income districts, social outreach programs and other benevolent endeavors.

»Joseph L. Bruno Stadium

The Joseph L. Bruno Stadium, also known as, ‘The Joe’, is located on the campus of Hudson Valley Community College, in Troy, just a few miles from Albany. Named after the former NY State Senate member Joseph Bruno, who acquired the USD14 million required to build the stadium, this baseball stadium is one of the premier venues for baseball in the Minor League Baseball circuit, and is the home of the Tri-City Valley Cats. The architecture firm Clough Harbour & Associates designed this stadium, equipped with a grass surface, and able to accommodate about 4,500 guests. The Steamer No.10 Theatre is a non-profit theater that aims to bring some art to the community. The founders chose its name from the non-operational fire station namely, the Steamer No. 10 Fire Station and its former occupants. Today, this 120-seat venue hosts variety plays for children and the entire family. After a complete makeover in 2005, this venue is equipped with comfortable seats, modern lighting and state-of-the-art sound system. The Steamer also has workshops and lecture series for kids, where they are introduced to the fun world of theater and different aspects of the stage.

Jack’s Place is an intimate venue run by the MEISA group of the College of Saint Rose. Known for hosting local indie rock bands, the venue also opens its doors for artists/ bands on tour. The students organize two to three concerts a month, and when they do, a number of students and music lovers flock the house to enjoy the stellar performances.
