A beautiful lagoon surrounded with some splendid views, Goksjø lake offers a tranquil setting for some relaxing time by the shore. The lake covers the municipalities of Andebu, Larvik and Sandefjord in Norway's Vestfold county and remains a popular picnic spot.
Høyt og Lavt means "high and low" in Norwegian, and the title is fitting for this action-packed climbing park. It's actually the largest outdoor climbing park in all of Scandinavia, featuring zip lines, canyoning, cliff climbing, horseback riding, a clubhouse, theater, and river activities such as canoeing and kayaking. Check the website for information about varying open days and hours.
Located in Skien municipality, Norsjø is a quaint lake covering an area of 55 square kilometers (21.23 square miles). A part of the beautiful Telemark Canal, this lake remains a popular tourist attraction since it offers boat trips to Notodden and Lake Heddalsvatnet. Norsjø was also the site of the ancient Ulefos Manor which is now on display at the Telemark Museum. Around the lake, one can explore a beautiful sculpture park, camping grounds and a sprawling golf course.
