Arts & Museums
Dedicated to preserving and depicting the political and cultural history of Washington, this museum features two floors of exhibits that include interesting temporary exhibits and exhibits on regional Native American history. The gardens that surround the museum have native Northwest plants an ethnobotanical garden is also on site.
The Artist's Gallery features fine contemporary and modern arts by over twenty Washington artists. You will find a wide variety of paintings, drawings, sculpture, functional art, abstract art, jewelry, fine wood crafts, pottery, printmaking, mixed-media and more.
A working studio that promotes the arts. You can visit Tuesday through Friday from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., Saturday from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. or by appointment.

This aviation museum is located at the Olympia Airport. On display are more than 20 different aircrafts, most of them vintage. Children are permitted to climb into certain designated aircrafts to experience a pilot's perspective.
The celebrated Lewis Army Museum was formerly known as the Fort Lewis Military Museum. The historically significant museum is housed within the Red Shield Inn building. This museum displays exhibits pertaining to the Camp Lewis, Fort Lewis and several units of the Joint Base Lewis-McChord.
