One of the longest running shows on Broadway, A Chorus Line follows the audition of Broadway dancers vying for a spot on a chorus line. As the show unwinds the stories of 17 dancers aching to fulfill their dreams by being cast in the production of a successful Broadway director, their individual motivations, fears, complexities and ultimately, passion come to light as each explains what made he or she pursue a life as a dancer. The interwoven stories offer a glimpse of the trials, rejection and desperation of a life in show business. With renowned choreography and musical numbers, this world-wide hit won nine of its 12 Tony nominations as well as the Pulitzer Prize for Drama.

Broaden your musical horizons with a subscription to all five shows in Town Hall Seattle's season of Global Rhythms concerts. Mongolia's Arga Bileg takes the stage in September, a group of ethno-jazz musicians and dancers who update their country's folk songs with Western instruments and electronic elements. Then, Los Texmaniacs and special guest Flaco Jiménez arrive on Halloween to haunt you with their signature fusion of Texas rock, well-cured blues and R&B grooves. The mother-daughter duo of Kekuhi and Kaumakaiwa Kanaka'ole will warm up your wintry heart with a Valentine's Day show featuring their eerily beautiful renditions of contemporary and traditional Hawaiian music. Then it's on to the ethereal Arabic jazz band Hamsaz Ensemble in March and finally, May wraps up the series with the powerfully percussive music and lavishly colorful spectacle of Rup Tung Cack and the Golden Dragon Water Puppet Theatre of Saigon.
