Molde city's main source of drinking water, Moldevatnet is spread across an area of 19 hectares (47 acres). Moldeelva river originates in Moldevatnet, whose shores have housed saw mills dating back to the 17th and the 18th centuries. The area surrounding Moldevatnet offers pleasant trails for walkers.

Nestled in the northern section of the mesmerizing mountain range of Trollheimen, Grasjøen is a tranquil lake enveloped by spellbinding scenery. A dam built on the lake supplies water to the power station at Gråsjø. The picturesque Snota mountain range is found to the lake's southern end.
Vasslivatnet, located along the E39 is nestled along the banks of the River Søo. It is a man-made reservoir with a dam that produces hydroelectric power for the region. It spans an area of 2.92-square kilometers (1.13 square miles). Fishing can be enjoyed on its shores.
