Musikkhuset Energi Mølla is a bustling event venue housed in a renovated mill house. There is never a dull moment here; Kongsberg's cultural hub, it plays host to musical performances and numerous other events. Built in 1844, this stone building is a part of the Norwegian Mining Museum. It is home to Smeltehytta, a ballroom which underwent a renovation in 1986 and was re-opened in a grand ceremony by King Olav V. Smeltehytta is mostly used as a banquet and concert venue and is also used for the Kongsberg Jazz Festival.

As old as the city itself, Drammen Theater is a name that has long been associated with Norwegian arts. The original theater complex was built in 1806, which was later relocated to the Bragernes Center in 1839. The present day theater was rebuilt in 1997 after being gutted by fire in 1993. The Renaissance style theater is comprised of a main stage (capacity:420), center stage (capacity:209) and a cafe (capacity:100); each venue available for hosting events, seminars, meetings and conferences. Advanced acoustics and lighting add to the dramatic effect of events staged - be it a concert or a recital.
