Kongsberg Kirke is a splendid representation of the true baroque architecture from the 18th Century. Construction of the church began in 1740, and finally in 1761 it was consecrated. The main highlight of the church is the elegant alter with beautiful carvings on it. An opulent chandelier adds to the splendor of this place. The entire church reflects a blue tone. The Gulskogen Manor was constructed in 1804 in Louis XVI style of architecture. The house still holds the original furnishings that belonged to the generations of the Arbo family, including the painter Peter Nikolai's paintings. The manor park is designed in an 18th Century European model. The house is a part of Drammen Museum.
While wandering around Drammen you will come across a small rectangular park tucked between Øvre Storgate and Hauges Gate, in the shadow of the Drammens Teater.
