Nestled within the Shore Acres Park, this historic clubhouse can be rented out for various events. Located close to the south eastern shore of Chillicothe, the Shore Acres Clubhouse was originally established as the Peoria Automobile Club in 1915. Designed in the Classical Revival style, the beautiful architecture will add a historic charm to your event. Shore Acres Clubhouse was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1995.
The state-of-the-art Great Escape Theatre shows only the latest Hollywood movies among its 14 screens, each with stadium-style seating and digital sound.
This is the largest karting street race in the world, run through downtown city streets. It is similar to Formula 1 but on a smaller scale using karts made for high speed racing at speeds up to 100 MPH; ancillary activities as well. Has attracted racers from 9 foreign countries. Long-term sponsors include companies like AT&T, Mazda Motorsports and John Deere.

A 12,000-seat arena and conference center, the MARK of the Quad Cities is the host of concerts, past ones have included ones by the Eagles, Cher, Tina Turner, Elton John, Tim McGraw, Kenney Chesney and Janet Jackson, and special performances. The MARK is also home to the Quad City Mallards and the Quad City Steamwheelers.
Serving as a premiere destination for concerts and events in the mid-west, the iWireless Center features world class entertainment all throughout the year. This event center offers 12,000 seats for patrons and is also home to the Quad City Mallards, a Central Hockey League. Other professional sporting events have been known to take place here as well as trade shows and conventions.

The Quad City Conservation Alliance (QCCA) was founded in 1984 as a not-for-profit-conservation alliance by local conservation. They now sponsor many special events and informative shows. Some of these include the Lawn and Garden show, Bald Eagle Days, a Christmas Craft Show and an RV show.
Formerly called the Glen Oak Conservatory, the Luthy Botanical Garden (George L. Luthy Memorial Botanical Garden) opened its doors in 1951. Spread across five acres (2.02 hectares) of many themed gardens such as the All Seasons Garden, Woodland Garden, Hosta Glade, Wildlife Garden, Rose Garden and Herb Garden, this beautiful green spot is a jewel of the neighborhood. This city landmark is known for its awesome flower shows, special events and horticultural displays. It also features a Conservatory and a garden gift shop which has everything related to gardening and also includes unique knick knacks and jewelry. Luthy Botanical Garden gives you a glimpse of the many shades nature has to offer in its different seasons. A visit to this wonderful parkland will be a refreshing experience.
