The exhibit "Make A Joyful Noise" Renaissance Art and Music at Florence Cathedral features the work of Italian artist Luca della Robbia (1399-1482). Many important artists were invited to fill the Florence's Cathedral vast interior and among them was Robbia, well known for his Cantoria (singing gallery). The motif of Robbia's marble panels is of children playing instruments, singing and dancing to music. Also part of the display is an audio tour with music from the choir books.

American Encounters: Anglo-American Portraiture in an Era of Revolution is an exhibit in collaboration with the Musee du Louvre, the Terra Foundation for American Art and the Crystal Bridges Museum of American Art. Five portraits are displayed together for the first time that demonstrate how portraiture style changed in the late 18th and early 19th Centuries. This evolution came about from the way the American and European painters influenced each other.
