The TCC Field House is a state of the art sports facility in Kamloops. Forming part of the Tournament Capital Centre, the Fieldhouse include athletic tracks, basketball courts and hockey rinks that host a variety of games and championships. Nestled between the Thompson River and Lansdowne Street, Riverside Park offers an tranquil place to get away from the bustle of the city. This park was once a refuge for a group of Chinese Canadians who worked for the Canadian Pacific Railway in the late 19th Century. From a camp site, this place has been beautifully transformed into a city park. Visitors can enjoy a nice picnic, walk along the beach, swim in the waters of the river or indulge in beach side games. Lake Lac Le Jeune is situated within the Lac Le Jeune Provincial Park and is named after a benevolent Catholic priest Jean-Marie-Raphaël Le Jeune. It is an ideal holiday spot during the summers. The park offers a variety of activities for recreation, and is also open during the winters for skiing and ice skating.
