»Shopping Tacaruna Mall

Opened on April 29th, 1997, this was the first big mall of the northwest area of Recife and the closest to Olinda city. »Casa da Cultura

Situated in Recife Antigo, Casa da Cultura was originally built in the 18th century as a penitentiary. In 1973, it was closed and 3 years later, after a renovation, Casa da Cultura was founded, literally meaning "House of Culture." This traditional marketplace is open everyday on Praça de Boa Viagem Square.
