Herlong Airport (H.E.G.) is run by the Jacksonville Aviation Authority for recreational flying purposes and general aviation. Most of the airport's activity is flight training for sports and recreational activities. The Herlong Airport is serviced by two intersecting runways. The airport, though small, does its bit in deviation of general aviation traffic from Jacksonville International Airport. Herlong Airport acts as landing base for many aircraft like the single and twin-engine aircraft and also for gliders, helicopters and corporate jets. Many skydiving operations are also based at the Herlong.

Wat Khmer Savy Rattanaram is a Cambodian Buddhist temple in Jacksonville. Although it is tucked among homes on Clinton Avenue, the temple is one of the largest such temples in the United States. The large Buddha statue inside and many building materials were brought in from Cambodia. The size and shape of the temple is similar to the ones in Cambodia and has been built strictly according to Buddhist rules.
