The Benton House was home of Allen R. Benton (Butler University's former president). Built in 1873, this beautiful abode is now under the purview of The Benton House Association that maintains and manages it. Brookside Park is a municipal park in Indianapolis, Indiana, spread across 108 acres (43 hectares). It is an urban setting near the neighborhoods in downtown Indianapolis, which is a low income group area. The park’s main attractions includes a public swimming pool, a huge community center sprawling across 20,000 square feet (1858 square meters), baseball fields, soccer fields, a golf course, basketball courts, outdoor shelters, and several nature trails throughout the park. The park runs on the sides of Pogue’s Run, which is a tributary of the White River.

Pepsi Coliseum is a part of the Indiana State Fairgrounds. Everything from trade shows to concerts, ice skating events, and ice-hockey competitions are held at this venue. The facilities are all modern, with an efficient management at work. Even ice-skating lessons are held on a regular basis. Children's birthday parties can be organized with prior arrangements. Visit the well-stocked pro-shop, which houses all kinds of ice skating gear such as blades, skates, and repair and sharpening equipment.
Sporting events, live music concerts, and cultural performances are held at the Marsh Grandstand, which holds up to 15,500 people. The venue, housed within the Indiana State Fairgrounds, overlooks the famous one mile track. Action events like auto racing and harness racing are also known to take place here from time to time. An annual event held at the Indiana State Fairgrounds, here more than 450 exhibitors and 30 garden landscapers on more than 269,000 square feet will showcase their skills on such tasks as landscaping and one of a kind floral design. Instruction will be offered and flowers, garden accessories, bulbs, and seeds will be on sale. Held in March.
