The Indiana University of Pennsylvania is a public university operated under the Pennsylvania State System of Higher Education, located in the center of Indiana, PA. It is the largest university in the system, and is the fifth largest in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. Established in 1875, the campus of this institution is lined with Victorian architectural marvels, including the John Sutton Hall and the Breezedale Alumni Center, which have earned a place on the National Register of Historic Places. The huge campus, about 374 acres (151.3 hectares), comprises several smaller colleges and schools that offer an extensive academic experience.
