The Cape Lookout National Seashore is a 56-mile (90-kilometer) long coastline. The shore comprises of three barrier islands and two historic villages. At Harkers Island, a center is located which takes care of the visitor needs and requirements. The shore is featured on the National Register of Historic Places.
