»Baumann’s Bierbar

Baumann’s Bierbar is located near the central railway station in the St. Georg district. The rustic style with a lot of wood is typical for this area and makes for a cozy place to enjoy a cold draft beer. During the summer you can sit outside and observe the bustling city. This beer bar is around 120 years old and has been run by the Baumann family for generations. The handbag and jacket rack under the counter is very practical; that way, you won't have any problems finding your things on the coat rack.

»Frau Möller

This dive bar opened in 1983 and one day before the opening the owner had no idea what to name the bar, but his employees helped out and suggested to name it after his dog, Frau Möller. This local bar has seen better days: the wallpaper is yellow from cigarette smoke and the floor creaks, but that is the way the regulars want it. The charm of Frau Möller isn't that it's new, it's that it's familiar.  The bar has many different draft beers, foosball and darts - the perfect combination for a dive bar.

»Max & Consorten

This popular pub is always busy. With beer, mixed music and hot meals from a large menu, this is hardly surprising. The kitchen serves anything from breakfast and light snacks to tasty dishes until late at night. Max & Co is in with the theatre crowd despite its worn-out floorboards and yellowing posters. They sit amongst students, brokers and a mix of people enjoying the originality of the slightly rustic decor and its Seventies charm. Please refer the website for the exact opening hours.
