    The Black Jungle Terrarium Supply is a must visit for nature lovers visiting Turners Falls. This supply store features an expansive collection of exotic flora and fauna in a rainforest-like setting. Owners Richard and Michael give visitors a guided tour of the place. Marvel at frogs in glass tanks, caged tropical birds, as well as palms, vines and plant life. Enjoy a quick lesson on these rare species, make note of some essential tips on how to maintain a vivarium, and take home a reptile as a pet of your own.

    »The Montague Bookmill

    Housed in a historic grist mill, the Bookmill is an independent book shop selling second hand textbooks, journals, novels and similar stuff. Though, the focus here is on educational books and reading materials, it has other genres of books too. With its stock almost reaching to a whopping 40,000, it certainly does have an envious collection. You can sit in any of its cozy room and browse through their books; most of the reading rooms offer splendid view of the adjoining river.     The original Yankee Candle Company's flagship store in South Deerfield, Massachusetts is an exciting, fun day trip out of Boston (approximately one hour's ride) for everyone. Over 160 varieties of candles are sold, from traditional beeswax to Shortbread Cookie scented candles, unique and traditionally-made New England housewares and a complete selection of Christmas decorations, there is definitely something here for everyone to enjoy. Make your own candles at the Candlemaking Museum, stroll through the Bavarian Christmas village (complete with 25ft tree and toy train zooming through the trees) with year-round snowfall or relax and enjoy a performance by the animatronic Candle Mountain Boys with some delicious baked goods. Prepare to spend hours wandering around this massive 16,000 sq ft store full of candles and other delights. There's also a lovely adjacent restaurant, Chandler's, which serves traditional New England dishes, such as Fish & Chips, Clam Chowder, Chicken Pot Pie and Toll House Cookie Pie.
