This 43-acre (17-hectare) land is the Northeastern Wisconsin Zoo that attracts more than half a million visitors every year. Over 200 animals call this zoo their home and there are several exhibits on display. The Chase Stone Barn or the Daniel E. Krause Stone Barn is an integral part of the historic heritage of the Chase town. Incorporated in the National Register of Historic Places, this stone barn was constructed by William Mensenkamp, and it is the only extant fieldstone barn across the Oconto County.
