John Fogerty is an American singer, songwriter, and guitarist. During the 1960s, he was the frontman of the legendary rock combo Creedence Clearwater Revival. In the early 1970s, however, Fogerty started his solo career. In the mid-1980s, he managed to stage a comeback and he has been performing ever since.

Prolific for her emotive, soft rock ballads, Sarah McLachlan is a Canadian singer/songwriter and musician from Halifax, Nova Scotia. With the release of her debut album Touch, in 1988, she first exposed her evocative mezzo-soprano voice and poignant songwriting to broad audiences, earning critical and commercial acclaim in the process. She rose to international attention with her 1997 record, Surfacing, which features the iconic piano rock hit "Angel." With an impressive catalog of records under her name, McLauchlan has solidified herself as a pop icon with each new release, including her 2014 LP, Shine On. In addition her work as an artist, through which she has been a steady activist for the advancement and fair treatment of women in entertainment, she is a devout philanthropist who has dedicated her time to various outreach programs, such as the Sarah McLachlan School of Music, The American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals and numerous disaster relief campaigns.

American country music singer, Brad Paisley, is a front-runner for modern country music. Known to frequently reference pop culture in his songs, his satirical nature adds extra flair to his country rock songs. Paisley's energy translates well into his live performances in particular; he's always got his crowd dancing on their feet to the slight twangy, pop sounds of his country music.

The Road Hammers crafts a country music sound infused with Southern rock and blues. During its initial run from 2005 to 2010, the band earned a following with its crossover style over the course of three LPs, starting with its eponymous debut album. After a short hiatus, The Road Hammers surprised its following with a new single, titled "Get On Down the Road," in 2013.

Kenny Rogers is one of the most famous American country singers and actors of the 20th Century. He released his first single, "That Crazy Feeling / We'll Always Have Each Other", Rogers when he was just 19 years old. His big break came with the single, "Just Dropped In To See What Condition My Condition Was." Rogers used his popularity to build a fast food chain of his own: Kenny Rogers Roasters.

Before Bob Seger experienced massive mainstream success in the late-1970s and early 1980s, he was a local musician in Detroit, Michigan--playing dive bars and honing his stills as a singer/songwriter. The years he spent in this lesser-known, formative stage undoubtedly helped Seger because when he did breakthrough with his 1976 album, Night Moves, he was sure enough of his talents to deliver when it came to performing in front of crowds and recording ear-catching follow up records. Though Seger spent his dutiful time in the cultural limelight, his popularity has receded to a moderate state; but Motor City musician hasn't let his fame ebbing deter him from continuing to tour and release studio material that is constantly characteristically Seger.
