»The Airborne Toxic Event w/ Opening Act Tba

    November 05, 2014 9:00 PM

The Airborne Toxic Event was formed in 2006 around lyricist Mikel Jollett, a former novelist and writer of prose with no background in music. After a series of life-altering events, he began to pen songs, and gathered the members of what is now The Airborne Toxic Event in a natural progression. Integrating classical instruments with contemporary rock sounds, The Airborne Toxic Event has built up a following of unparalleled devotion. The group's poetic, searing and elegant lyrics and sophisticated musical abilities have attracted intense critical acclaim from all angles. 2010 saw the release of a documentary film, All I Ever Wanted, which followed the band's epic sold-out concert at L.A.'s Walt Disney Concert Hall.

    »Tennis w/ Opening Act Tba

    November 08, 2014 9:30 PM

When listening to music created by the Denver, Colorado based band Tennis, images are conjured of sail boats, sun burns, white sand beaches and hammocks. The husband and wife's tunes have such a beach friendly sound that it's hard to think the group comes from such a landlocked city like Denver. The duo did spend eight months sailing around the Eastern Seaboard, though, so all of the inadvertent ocean references found in the group's music isn't unfounded. Tennis caught the attention of several critics in 2010 after it released a few singles as well as an EP and as the band's notoriety continues to grow, it will undoubtedly prove to be an interesting electronically infused surf rock act to track.

    »Flosstradamus w/ Opening Act Tba

    November 22, 2014 10:00 PM

Flosstradamus is a Chicago-based electronic duo that was formed in 2005 and specializes in making dance-friendly tracks with intensive synth arrangements and meaty bass beats. The group has received a large amount of attention within the electronic music scene and has managed to build a reputation for itself as a must-see live act for connoisseurs of electronic music. Even though the duo's music is extremely easy to dance to and, therefore, subject to a good deal of criticsm from electronic music snobs, Flosstradamus manages to interject a lot of adept production quirks and skillful sample splices.

    »Johnny Marr

    November 29, 2014 7:00 PM

By the time he decided to leave The Smiths and his turbulent but prolific songwriting partnership with Morrissey behind in 1987, Johnny Marr had solidified himself as one of the era's more influential guitarists, particularly on the britpop genre that followed in the 1990s. After spending some time as a member of The Pretenders, The The and Electronic as well as laying down substantial time as a sought after session guitarist, he formed Johnny Marr and the Healers in 2000. With his new band, he released Boomsland, in 2003 and went on to release work as part of Modest Mouse, The Cribs and 7 Worlds Collide throughout the 2000s. Marr finally released his own solo album, The Messenger, in 2013 but is still remembered today as the iconic guitarist and Morissey's partner from The Smiths.

    »Head For The Hills

    December 04, 2014 9:00 PM

Head For The Hills, or as fans refer to them H4TH, have already opened for some of the biggest names in the bluegrass and acoustic communities like Bela Fleck, T-Bone Burnett and Earl Scruggs. The members met one another in Fort Collins, Colorado and recorded their debut LP Robber's Roost in 2007 with the help of Sally Van Meter who had also worked with the likes of Bob Dylan and Jerry Garcia. The young members of Head For The Hills have deep respect for the founders of bluegrass and although they know all the classic traditional standards, the group have also helped to progress the genre by performing new grass originals that consistently manage to win over festival crowds across the country.
