»Anderson Reservoir

Anderson Reservoir, often called Anderson Lake, is an artificial lake just about 3.6 miles (5 kilometers) from Morgan Hill, CA, and is located next to the Coyote Creek. Made in 1950, Anderson Lake covers about 1,250 acres (505.86 hectares), making it the largest man-made reservoir in Santa Clara County. Named for the Leroy Anderson Dam that is associated with it, the lake forms the centerpiece of the Anderson Lake County Park which offers a variety of activities for local picnickers and visitors.
