Bridge of Fists, is located in Venice, which is popular for the tradition of fist fights that took place here. The fights were quite popular and involved opposing groups facing one other, without any instruments or protective gear. Whoever managed to throw the other from the bridge into the filthy canal, was said to be the winner. The fights drew crowds and became an enjoyed sport for onlookers. The bridge today consists of footprints that have been marked by marble, commemorating the street fight tradition that began in the 16th-century.
