Galesburg Railroad Museum is located in Galesburg, Illinois, United States. It is a railroad museum and its collection includes several iconic cars and locomotives. Some of the highlights on display are a Pullman "Meath" car, a mail and baggage car, as well as photographs and memorabilia.
Carl Sandburg State Historic Site, the birthplace of writer and Pulitzer Prize winner Carl Sandburg is located in Galesburg. Carl Sandburg was born in this house in 1878, besides the house, a visitor center, a museum and the rock under which Carl Sandburg and his wife’s ashes are buried are also located in this historic place.
