The Hill Country Market will be held at the Y.O. Ranch Hotel on November 18th from 6 to 9 p.m., November 19th from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., November 20th from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Breakfast with Santa on November 20th with two seatings from 8:30 to 10 a.m. and 10:30 to noon. Reservations for Breakfast with Santa are required. This fundraiser will benefit Hill Country CARES and the costs of providing emergency shelter, counseling & advocacy to individuals & families victimized by domestic violence, sexual assault, child abuse & neglect, elder abuse, neglect or self-neglect. Hill Country CARES is a non-profit organization serving Kerr, Kendall, Bandera and Gillespie counties since 1984.
Cailloux Theater, named after the Cailloux family, is a leading establishment for performing arts. Operated by Playhouse 2000, it stages their shows as well as those of the Symphony of the Hills and Hill Country Youth Orchestra. Their schedule is an eclectic mix of concerts, theater productions, musicals, city functions and cultural events. This venue can also be rented out for private purposes.
Symphony of the Hills presents four concerts per season at the Kathleen C. Cailloux City Center for the Performing Arts. This group is comprised of 75 members from Kerrville and other regions in Texas.
