Govan's Gathering Place Coffee House is more than just a nice coffee shop on the Gallatin Square. It is the culmination of years of the dreams and hopes of the Govan family. This fabulous local coffee shop offers guests a wide variety of fresh, flavorful coffees and treats in an environment inspired by the artwork and passions of former University of Memphis art professor, Frank Govan, a deceased relative of the owners of this shop. In addition to coffee, Govan's serves as a small art gallery for Professor Govan's personal collection as well as a showplace for his glass and pottery collection. The relaxed environment, beautiful art and fantastic coffee brews make Govan's a perfect spot to relax while antiquing in Gallatin. -Lynn-nore Chittom

6-4-3 Sports Bar is a combination of two bars in the Hitcents Park Plaza. Their menu features wings, sliders, appetizers, entrees, sandwiches and burgers. Savor their Green Chili-Changas (pulled pork chimichangas loaded with cheese and roasted green chilies and served with cilantro lime crema), Blue Cheese Fries, Bratwurst Sliders, Po Boy, The Cuban and Jambalaya. There is also a performance stage for live acts. It is a great spot to catch a game or unwind with friends over beer and good food.
Sam's All American Sports Bar has been voted "Best Sports Bar" in Nashville seven times by the Nashville Scene Magazine, and they know what they're talking about. With two locations, one in Hillsboro Village and one in Hendersonville, all of Nashville has an opportunity to enjoy a game at Sam's. Unlike many chain restaurants and bars, Sam's puts just as much emphasis on their food as they do on the big game. The pizzas are handcrafted and creative and the burgers are juicy and delicious, but nobody really goes to Sam's just for the food, as there are plenty of other options in the area. Check out their website for Happy Hour specials and events. You'll be sure to have a great time at Sam's. -Lynn-nore Chittom
