    The St. Paul's Church is a Lutheran Church established in 1860. Designed by architects A. Carl and Schlottmann, the congregation was founded by immigrants from Germany. The church became a part of the National Register of Historic Places in 1982. Services and other religious ceremonies still continue at the church.

Visitors may tour the winery and sample the selection of white, red, dessert and port wines. Food is also served, and various entertainment events are scheduled year round, including live music, a summer concert series and a murder mystery dinner theater. Mount Pleasant Winery is located in historic Augusta, Missouri, which is about an hour drive west of St. Louis.

    »Weldon Spring Site

    Learn about the unique history behind the Weldon Spring Site and how it played a role in our nation's war efforts over the last 100 years. From 1986 until the present, the U.S. Department of Energy funded a massive environmental clean-up of the contaminated site that resulted in construction of a 45-acre disposal facility, an eight-acre Missouri native plan garden, and the 150-acre Howell Prairie. A 9,000 square foot Interpretive Center has also been built and contains a variety of educational exhibits.
