Nigardsbreen is an arm of Jostedalsbreen, Norway's largest mountain glacier and offers one of the most spectacular ice-land experience that you will ever have. The Nigardsbreen Ice Cave was accidentally discovered by researchers in 2007. And it turned out to be a beautiful discovery of a huge, untouched ice cave that had an ethereal bluish glow. Icicles and crystalline blues give this cavern an alluring charm. Since it is ice, its appearance is never constant, there is always something new. Accessible only on winters, guided tours are given which is including a mammoth trek to the glacier.
