Named after the former Confederate President Jefferson Davis, this state park is located a short distance north of the tiny burg of Irwinville, just off the interstate. A drive from the big city, the park requires a 160-mile (260-kilometer) trek southeast from Atlanta along Interstate 75. In addition to the memorial and historic displays, you'll find ten picnic sites, along with one group shelter and an extensive nature trail.
A nine hole, par 72 public golf course that was built on predominantly flat terrain, but includes some hills that can cause uneven lies. Water hazards come into play on all nine holes and a driving range and putting green are also on site.
