The New Pornographers may have a slightly disconcerting name, but the group's music is quite normal. The Canadian/American indie rock troupe started making music together in Vancouver in 1997 and has since lost a few original members to various other musical projects, but has still retained its power-pop sound that has gone over quite well on the indie rock scene.

intercollegiate teams of North Carolina State University in Raleigh, North Carolina.
As a member of the NCAA's Division I, the university competes in the Atlantic Coast Conference and the Football Bowl Subdivision (FBS). North Carolina State has a history of successful men's basketball programs and won its first NCAA national title in 1974. Other men's and women's programs sponsored by the university include baseball, football, cross country, golf, soccer, swimming, softball, tennis and volleyball.
