Motorco Music Hall is a popular bar and music venue in the Central Park district of downtown Durham. They have a full bar with an extensive liquor and wine listing as well as bottled microbrews and a rotating selection of twelve different beers on tap. Motorco is usually closed on Mondays but may open for an event or concert so be sure to check their website for the latest music schedule. Some seating is available around the bar and outside but why would you be sitting when your favorite band is playing anyways? Unless stated otherwise, Motorco requires patrons be 21 years of age or older.

A locally owned brewery and restaurant serving lunch and dinner all week. They offer family-friendly dining with a kid's play area and year-round patio dining. This is a "farm-to-fork" restaurant that uses locally sourced meat and other produce. Nearly everything is made in-house. They also brew their own beer and have up to eight beers on tap that rotate seasonally. An official brewery tour is available at 4 p.m. most every Saturday for those at least 21-years of age. They also feature farmer produced wines from around the world that are served on top from their self-serve wine dispensing system.
A cute little bakery and restaurant, Guglhupf Café gives you the best of both! The food served here is mostly German, with a blend of the local flavors. This cafe can safely be termed a local favorite, especially for the breakfast/brunch. The place does get a bit crowded, so try and make reservations. The service is excellent. The waitstaff is polite and knowledgeable about the menu. Ask for suggestions and you will not be disappointed.
