Twentieth-century painter and poet Arthur Guindon is famed for depicting North American traditions and Canadian folklore and history. He placed special emphasis on New-France's heroes and episodes. Visitors of Shadow and Light will enjoy an audio guide to learn about Guidon's fascinating work and legends. During April 2014 and March 2015 the exhibition will be open from Tuesday to Sunday from 11a to 4p.
Samir Khullar is a stand-up comedian and actor from Quebec who performs under the moniker Sugar Sammy. A multi-lingual entertainer, fluent in Punjabi, English, French and Hindi, he has collected an international audience with his distinctive irreverent attitude and charming delivery when covering often controversial topics like racial stereotypes and gender roles.
