»The Pains Of Being Pure At Heart

April 19, 2015 8:00 PM

The New York-based outfit The Pains of Being Pure at Heart creates intimate indie pop/rock music that offers audiences an insider view into its narratives. Lyricist Kip Berman writes songs that are extremely idiosyncratic and revealing, lending the band an emotional, bleeding heart persona that has captivated a dedicated following. The Pains of Being Pure at Heart first recorded its shoegaze-inspired dream pop sound on its 2009 self-titled debut album.
