Cavalia: A Magical Encounter Between Human and Horse is a multi-media extravaganza featuring equestrian arts, acrobats, live musicians and dazzling multi-media displays. Normand Latourelle, a co-founder of Cirque du Soleil, infuses Cavalia with the same theatrical dedication that is characteristic of all his other productions. The well-executed set transitions and seamless, flowing music draws the audience into a cocooned world that explores the primal connection between humans and horses, starting with the birth and discovery of the horse and ending with images out of the Wild West.

The end is near -- or is it? -- in the comedy "Awaiting the Apocalypse". In a small, dingy diner called Smithereens, Mort, Solomon and Sylvester believe themselves to be three of the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse. They wait, not so patiently, for the fourth horseman to arrive and start the end of the world. That's when Cameron, a young, single guy, stumbles into the diner, chasing a girl he's too cowardly to talk to, and unwittingly gets drawn into the old men's plans for Armageddon. Between laughs, Jonathan M. Vick's work asks some serious questions, like "What is the apocalypse? Is it fire and brimstone and deities passing judgment? Or is it just you and me giving up?"
