    The North Texas Mean Green (commonly known as the "Mean Green") represents intercollegiate athletics at the University of North Texas in Denton, Texas. The university currently competes in the NCAA Division I program as a member of the Sun Belt Conference. The North Texas Mean Green has won several national and conference titles since 1932, including the New Orleans Bowl in 2002. The team is currently comprised of both men's and women's athletic teams across a variety of sports, such as football, basketball, track and field, golf and soccer.
