Run by a volunteer group, the Chatfield Center for the Arts plays host to numerous events throughout the year. Although it is best known as the home of the historic Potter Auditorium, this center has many more top-notch facilities to boast of. The American Legion Room is perfect for meetings, while the Library Room is an intimate space apt for small performances. Many concerts are also held here.
Situated beside the banks of the Mississippi and right in the middle of the city, La Crosse has a very strong geographical advantage. Built in the year 1980, it is a well-known convention center and a popular entertainment venue. With 100,000 square feet of space comprising grand ballrooms, fully equipped boardrooms and conference rooms with the latest technology, available, this place is well-suited for concerts, business conventions and other social events.
Cavalier Theater & Lounge were two different buildings that is now linked through an internal passage. The spruced up venue hosts concerts, dance shows, recital, comedy acts and theater. Reminiscent of a supper club and a chic lounge of the 1960s, Cavalier is a great place to unwind and enjoy the live entertainment. Some of their previous listings are Caroline's Spine, Moth Mountain and Mark Joseph.
The Veteran's Memorial Stadium is located on the campus of University of Wisconsin–La Crosse and is home ground to the Wisconsin–La Crosse Eagles. It is usually used as a football field that can seat around 10,000 spectators. These grounds have seen some of the best college football teams battle it out.
