Located north of Atlanta in rural Dahlonega, this adventurous group offers canoeing and kayaking outings through pristine country along the Chestatee and Etowah Rivers. For those in search of a more reflective, less strenuous adventure, casual tubing journeys are also an option. All necessary equipment, as well as instruction and refreshments, are available on site. Half-day river treks are also available. The outfit operates seasonally, March through November.

An extensive array of services such as full & partial boarding, training facilities, horseback riding trips, and access to numerous mountain trails is provided by these stables. They are located in the foothills of the Appalachian Mountains. Other services available on site included guided mountain biking or hiking trips, canoeing, wagon ride cookouts, fishing, and guided spring turkey hunting.

Vogel State Park has an area of 233-acres (94.29 hectares) is part of the Chattahoochee National Forest and also covers Lake Trahlyta.
