Located north of Atlanta in rural Dahlonega, this adventurous group offers canoeing and kayaking outings through pristine country along the Chestatee and Etowah Rivers. For those in search of a more reflective, less strenuous adventure, casual tubing journeys are also an option. All necessary equipment, as well as instruction and refreshments, are available on site. Half-day river treks are also available. The outfit operates seasonally, March through November.

    Babyland General is home to the once wildly popular Cabbage Patch Kids dolls. The "hospital" is housed in an actual turn-of-the-century medical clinic, and free tours are given to show how the Kids are "born." You can hold, cuddle and even adopt one of the Kids. This toy museum is an attraction for people of all ages, many of whom may remember the original hype over adopting the unique Cabbage Patch Kids. Admission is free. Adoption is optional.
