Situated in upscale Batel, Shopping Crystal was established in 1996, and since then has proved to be one of Curitiba's most popular shopping spots. Spread over four stories, the mall features more than 130 stores, in addition to a number of restaurants. Although not as big as some of the other malls in the city, Shopping Crystal has a lot of variety to offer to shoppers, and makes for a good shopping excursion.
Housed in a 19th-century building that once served as the command post of the 5th Military Region of the Brazilian army, Shopping Curitiba has a great mix of shops, eateries and entertainment options. Noela, Gregory, Vila Romana, Petit Parfum and Ri Happy are just a few of the stores located at this mall, and the restaurants include Outback Steakhouse and The Fifties. Shopping Curitiba also features a movie theater.
The intricately designed entrance-way of Rua 24 Horas, may make make you feel like you are entering a mall, but don't be misled as this is the gateway to one of the most popular shopping districts in Brazil. Rua 24 Horas was originally established in 1991, it was neglected and fell into a state of disrepair and reopened in 2011. The street stretches for 120 meters (393.7 feet), and is home to more than ten stores and restaurants. This covered street features two clocks at the access, signifying 24 hours of the day. The place was designed by Simone Soares, Abrão Assad and Célia Bim; renowned local architects.

Located in the São Francisco neighborhood of Curitiba, NovoLouvre is a cafe, where you can also shop for clothes and books. The origins of NovoLouvre goes back to 1935, when it was founded as Louvre, a garment shop by Miguel Calluf. In 2007, NovoLouvre was established in a historic building on Trajano Reis street by Calluf's grandchildren.
