The Mississippi County Courthouse is a historic court building located at Hale and Poplar Avenues. Constructed in 1912, it shows the Classical Revival style of architecture. The structure is a marvel considering the time in was built in. The magnificent interiors add to the beauty of the building. The copper dome that adorns the structure gives it a spectacular look. The courthouse is fully functional even today and continues to serve the people of Mississippi County.

Temple Adas Israel is located at Brownsville, Tennessee, United States. This historic synagogue dating back to 1882 is one of the foremost synagogue in Tennessee. In 1979, the synagogue was placed in the National Registrar of Historic Places.
The Hampson Archeological Museum State Park is a historic museum which started in 1961. It has exhibits related to the Nodena Site, a Native American village. A playground near the museum can be used for picnicking and other fun activities. Guided tours of the museum are available.

The Dancyville United Methodist Church is one of the oldest surviving churches in the West Tennessee region. This church and its cemetery have been incorporated in the National Register in 1991.
