Cory Thomas Hanson goes by his stage name, W-H-I-T-E, an acronym for "White Horse In Technicolor Everywhere." Since the release of his first album in early 2010, he has used heavy rhythms and ethereal melodies to produce psychedelic electronic music that is hypnotizing yet still dance worthy with it's choir of beats. His sophomore album Twin Tigers, released the spring of 2011, is more upbeat and uplifting than his debut, offering playful bass lines and Hanson's signature, airy voice.

Using funky instrumentation via the group's talented rhythm section, Fortunate Youth layers emotive vocals and beach chair vibes atop its dub-tinged reggae-pop tracks. The band continues to expand its devoted following and has been able to share the stage with several reggae legends, including The Wailers and Toots & The Maytals.
