Tupelo is a historic Mississippi town located in the Northeast of the state. Named in honor of a Civil War battle that occurred nearby, the town quickly developed during the industrial boom of the late 19th Century due to its location at the intersection of railroad lines. Today, tourists flock to the city to see the most notable landmark therein: the birthplace of Elvis Presley.

The city of Florence lies along the banks of the Tennessee River in the north-western part of the state of Tuscany.
