The National Sports Center (Blaine Soccer Complex) hosts numerous state, national and world events on its 180-acre site. The U.S. Olympic Cycling Trials, International Special Olympics and USA Cup Soccer have all taken place here. Each year hundreds of youth soccer teams from all over the world make their way to this facility, just 30 minutes from downtown Minneapolis, to participate in the USA Cup. With 52 outdoor soccer fields and an indoor facility, the site is in constant use for practices and tournaments. Besides soccer, the field house is used year-round for basketball, volleyball and track events. There are four separate ice rinks built to Olympic and international competition standards, plus the nation's only all-weather wood cycling track nestled neatly in an inclined velodrome that is not for the faint of heart. There is seating for around 12,000 people to enjoy the outdoor events while the velodrome bleachers can handle over 2,000 fans.

Bert Bouwman is an experienced farmer and corn maze developer. He is an exclusive grower for a major Twin Cities supermarket chain and is the only grower in the state of a new hybrid of sweet corn. He and his wife Molly, along with the five kids, also run two produce stands in Hopkins and Chanhassen. After years of farming, Bert Bouwman and family set out to have their own corn maze. In the inaugural year, Bert partnered with the Twins Community Fund. This year, Bert has continued the partnership, and he personally designed the new corn maze commemorating the 20th anniversary of the Minnesota Twins 1991 World Series Championship. With 17.5 acres of land dedicated to the Twin Cities Harvest Festival and Maze, Bert, Molly and the kids love seeing everyone out there enjoying the festival.
This annual community event includes craft booths, a parade, fantastic food, family fun and more. With more than 25 groups marching, the parade will leave Windsor High School at 12:30 p.m. and end at the Town Green at 1:00 p.m. This event is held in May.
The Heights Theatre is one of the few classic cinemas left in the world, complete with red velvet curtains and crystal chandeliers. To add to the old-time atmosphere, an organ player plays before every movie screening, making the Heights a welcome departure from the chain theaters and their many pre-show commercials.
Situated on the Rum River, the distinguished Windego Park Auditorium/Open Air Theater is one of the most distinct amphitheaters in the entire Minnesota. Located in the Anoka region, the amphitheater site was constructed in 1914. It carries immense monumental value and is listed on the national Register of Historic Places. It constitutes an area that brags of a capacity of holding 1600 people at a certain time. The site has gained tremendous vitality over the years.
This troupe of entertainers features fifty singers, dancers and musicians who present traditional ethnic music and dance from many world regions.
TCF Bank Stadium has a capacity to accommodate nearly 50,300 avid football fans. This horseshoe-style stadium has 39 suites and almost 300 indoor club seats. Apart from football matches, it is also rented out for state tournaments, concerts and marching band competitions. All-in-all it is a perfect stadium complete with modern-day facilities and amenities.
This unique sixteen-screen, five-hundred-seat theatre complex features two twenty-seat VIP suites with reclining leather seats, a wet bar, and sound and air control systems, as well as offering an on-site restaurant.
The House of Comedy at the Mall of America features the best comedians within the stand-up field. Some familiar names that performed at this comedy club include nationally-known comedians, such as Jay Leno and David Letterman.
