Many local and national events keep happening at this venue, which is one of the preferred locations for many artists.

»Colorado Springs Dance Theatre

Watching this theater dance troupe grace the stage squeezes out of you gasps of awe and how-can-they-do-that-without-popping-a-hamstring cringes. Since 1977 it has been bringing grace and agility to Colorado Springs, with an emphasis on ballet and modern dance. Each year it sponsors up to five performances with national and international dance companies, and, in the past, have included the Dance Theatre of Harlem and the world-famous Superstars of the Bolshoi. Disciples of Jesus Christ, the First Christian Church aims to teach the people to follow and devote their lives to the Lord. The church provides Bible Study courses for children as well as adults. Various concerts and choirs focusing on Christian Music are held here. There are solo as well as group performances by local and national artists from time to time. Sunday services are regularly held at 8:15am and 11am.

This 2000-seat center is a veritable shrine to the creative mind. The Colorado Springs Chorale, the Colorado Springs Dance Theatre, and the Colorado Springs Symphony all call it home. This white hulk of a building, with its "Classic Revival" architecture, looks like it should belong in Washington DC rather than Colorado. Built in 1923 for the amazingly low sum of just over $424,000, it, over the years, has brought entertainment to the masses. With a seating capacity of over 8,000, it still attracts concerts, lectures, boxing matches and auctions. Dining options during the day can be found in the City Auditorium Cafe (7am-2pm Tue-Sun).

The school has a theater called the Palmer High School Theater which is a venue for theatrical events of 'Capitol Steps', which is a musical comedy show. »Armstrong Hall

Divided into three large floors, the Armstrong Hall is one of the biggest structures at Colorado College. It houses over 25 conference rooms, classrooms, a humanities and a multi-media lab, most of the administrative offices and a large theater used for drama productions and dance performances. The Max Kade theater is used for lectures, screenings of student films and foreign-language theater productions. With so many facilities available, there is hardly anything that the Armstrong Hall does not provide!

»Bemis Hall

Built by Colarado University in 1908, this gorgeous Tudor-style dormitory was built to house the ladies of the university. Opposite a residential quadrangle just west of Armstrong Quadrangle, Bernis Hall, in addition to comfortable dormitory settings for women, has a splendid lounge with wood paneling and ceiling beams and a dining room still used by the students for special occasions. Bernis Hall was listed in the National Register of Historic Places in 1997.

The Black Sheep is a very popular nightclub in Colorado Springs and also a venue for live music performances.
