    »Hindu Temple of Atlanta

    Dedicated to Lord Venkateshwara, the Hindu Temple of Atlanta stands out on the Georgia highway, towering over the other buildings in the vicinity. Constructed in true South-Indian style, it has a distinct architecture made of sandstone and marble; and resembles the Venkateswara temple of Tirupati. One part of the temple is dedicated to Lord Shiva, while the other part is dedicated to Lord Vishnu. There are other deities as well. Hindu devotees from the neighboring areas gather here for the daily prayer and services.

    »Jeremiah S. Gilbert House

    Dating to 1868, this two-story farmhouse was the home of Jeremiah Gilbert, the son of the first doctor to settle in Fulton County. The fieldstone and mortar construction is a rare surviving example of the type of farmhouse that flourished in the region during the Reconstruction era, and many of the home's original outbuildings still stand on the property. The house has been restored to its original condition, and stands as one of the oldest surviving buildings in Atlanta.

    Located 30 minutes southwest of the city, this amusement park is open on weekends. Although there's plenty of fun for adults, the park is geared toward kids, with bumper boats, batting cages, laser tag, and three go-cart tracks. A miniature golf course, video arcade, and play maze are also available. Bulk tickets can be purchased 200 at a time since they are the cheapest. There are also occasional "armband specials" that offer unlimited access to certain rides for a certain price.
