One of the oldest cricket clubs in the country, the Madras Cricket Club is something of an institution in itself. An elite club during the colonial days, it still has its share of high-profile members and refuses to go out of style. The club houses quite a few restaurants and bars with interesting cricket-related names like the 'Bouncer' restaurant, and the 'Yorker' and 'Pavilion' bars which reflect the club's classy standards. Besides cricket, there are facilities for other sports including tennis, badminton, squash and swimming, as well as a massage center. Located next to Chidambaram stadium, the Madras Cricket Club is well worth a visit for sports enthusiasts.

If you thought, Counter Strike was a revelation in the Gaming World, then Paintball is a fantastic counter-attack innovation in the Real World. For those of you, who are oblivious to the real game, paintball is a game where players from two teams compete against each other by attacking via paintball markers (special guns loaded with pellets filled with paint). This strategic game is still new to urban India, but the mania is definitely catching up. In Chennai, Planet Adventure - The Paintball Co. is supposedly the only place for such extreme action. The arena bunkers are quite unusual, thus adding excitement to this quirky escapade. Check out their website or call for bookings and more details.
