If you've been a fan of Golden Cadillac, the refreshing concoction made using galliano and crème de cacao, you'd probably know that it was born in a small dive bar in El Dorado, CA. Called Poor Red's Bar-B-Q, this spot is located on the Pleasant Valley Road about 38 miles (61 kilometers) from Sacramento proper. Visitors here should be warned, Red's is primarily a dive bar which happens to serve a great barbecue dishes, and that it doesn't fool around with dainty interiors or world-class service.
