Open to the public from Memorial Day through October 1, Monday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. The Piccadilly Museum is the public showcase for a large collection of transportation memorabilia gathered over 25 years by several individuals who have traveled to more than 100 countries around the world.
A French-inspired "castle" built for the son of a copper king, the Arts Chateau houses collections and hosts traveling art exhibits sponsored by the Butte-Silver Bow Arts Foundation.
Housed inside a mansion of the same name, the Charles W. Clark Chateau, is a museum and arts center operated by the Butte Silver Bow Arts Foundation. Established in 1977, the museum focuses on the ethnic history and culture of Butte. The arts center displays exhibits from various artists on a six week cycle. It also has an annual youth art exhibit which showcases art from public schools in Butte. It has a host of events lined up every year. Do check the website for further details.
The Mineral Museum houses incredible displays ranging from around 1300 mineral products to fluorescent minerals. The museum highlight is the 27.5 ounce nugget in gold. Check website for varying open dates.
The World Museum of Mining takes a look into the history and culture of mining here in Butte. The museum consists of exhibits retelling the story of the mine, its miners and its importance to the city's growth and economy.
